Major Changes for Soakin’ Up The Rays, Inc.!
Thank You all for our fantastic year during the last 12 months. We are not sitting still for 2002. We are ready to announce major changes for Soakin’ Up The Rays, Inc. 1) NO MORE DISTRIBUTORS! We have decided to drop all product sales though tanning distributors! Soakin’ Up The Rays,Inc. has lead the fight against indoor tanning product diversion, Buy stopping all sales to distributors, we now know where every Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) bottle is sold, that will allow us to further ensure that no Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) indoor tanning product is sold to a beauty supply, retail store, Internet reseller, home tanner or flea market stall. Our goal is: Working to Protect Your Profits from Diversion (TM). Stopping all distributor sales of Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) indoor tanning products further allows us to tighten that effort becuase we will know where every bottle is sold! 2) NO LONGER A ONE MAN OPERATION! At some point, every one realizes that they need some help. At Soakin’ Up The Rays, Inc. that time as come, maybe long over due! I must admit that the volume of business my company is now during as overwhelmed my ability to handle it! I have always tried to be a different type of company providing superior customer service first worrying about getting orders second. The problem is that now with my Lotion University (TM) classes and other duties of running my company, I am out of the office more and more to even take your orders. Heck, I haven’t followed up on a customer I have send a sample to in over 6 years, called customers updating my mailing list or even tired to make outgoing customer service calls to those salons that want us to call them. No, I am not being a telemarketing company, but some salon owners have told me that they simple forget to call, so the end up buying from someone else despite the fact they like our products. 3) NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER! For several months, I have been searching for the right person to hire to work with my current customers and prospects, the same way I do. I was not looking to hire hard core telemarketer to separate you from your money, quite the opposite. I wanted a chatty friendly person that would rather service and support your business than sell you products, just like me! I found the perfect person! I have hired Laurie Huber (Yes, AKA Bronze Star). Many of you can now get off the floor. She is perfect, she has an extensive history in training, human resources and customer service. She has the outgoing friendly attitude that my customers will love. Over the next few months, she will be calling all of my customers and prospects to find out if they would like her to continue calling. WE WILL NOT BE CALLING ANYONE THAT ASK US NOT TO CALL OR TANNING SALONS THAT HAVE NOT ASKED TO RECEIVE A SAMPLE OF OUR PRODUCTS! I will not have anyone harassing tanning salon owners, Laurie and I are here to service your needs not hawk my products. 4) ON-LINE LABEL DESIGN PROGRAM FOR PRIVATE LABELING! Soakin’ Up The Rays, Inc. has finished the initial design of our label design program for private label customers. Our goal is to offer tanning salon owners a quick and easy way to create a label for their own brand of tanning products! We are ready to begin Beta Testing of our program so it can be fully functional at the Nashville trade show. If you would like to be a Beta Tester then e-mail us at Webmaster@Soakinuptherays.com 5) THE FUTURE! The new phase of growth at Soakin’ Up The Rays, Inc. is just starting. I am currently looking for a warehouse location to move my operation to away from my house. Almost 10 years of working with the space limitations will mean many new and exciting things for the future. With the new space, I will be able to keep more inventory of different bottle designs and different formulas; I am considering having my own blending operation; hiring more customer service representatives; bring in a full time artist for more tanner informational information and advertising/packaging designs; maybe have our own in-house label printing operation as well as many other fantastic opportunities for the future! 6) MY DUTY AND GOALS! My primary duty is to continue to offer tanning salon owners the training, support and products to help them be more profitable. My goal is to dominate indoor tanning private labeling and make Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) a top 10 product brand in the industry. With your continued help and support, nothing is out of reach! Thank You, Greg Klesius |

Thank you everyone. Greg and I had an opportunity to pick each other's brains in Las Vegas and found we had very similar business ideas. Not only are our personalities complimentary to one another, but in me Greg is not getting a "Yes Man". I'm looking forward to seeing how far we can take this vision he has and expanding it beyond imagination.
Again, thank you. |
