No, not always better as far as tanning goes. The more expensive ones just have more ingredients, like herbs and vitamins or substances to mask the smell of sweat and bacteria, or longer lasting moisturizers. Some of the lower price lotion tan you just as well. What you want is some oil content to magnify light and unipertan or tyrosine to provide the building blocks for natural melanin production, and something to lock in or add moisture. Most lotions do this. The beginner or step 1 lotions usually have water to magnify light, this dries out during your session, so it only magnifies a bit. More advanced or step 2 lotion usually have oil to magnify light this does not dry out during your session providing longer magnification of light and a stronger effect.

Sometimes I think you get what you pay for..It depends on what kind of lotion you like if you like tingle products there are cheaper tingle products out there like JA string and Stronger which work well and don't carry a $60 price tag

As a moderator, we get notified through e-mail of postings and new topics in our forums. I moderate three forums, which I adore doing... until SOMEONE (guess who) started posting some offensive stuff and we needed to keep on top of the posts. So, an option was turned on for Moderator Notification by E-Mail EVERY time ANYTHING is posted or submitted in our forums. It has clogged up my e-mail box, I don't even read them because I'm here all the time, I just delete them all... and it's a pain! I have requested that the option be turned off and was politely turned down. So, I am boycotting the e-mail notifications! I have also blocked any incoming e-mail from my salon screen name as well in the hopes that will do the trick. It's my issue and I'm sticking to it!------------------ LaurieHi Moderators! Another E-mail for you!Boycott E-Mail Notification!

Oh I hope it wasn't ME, I know I got out of hand one nite on the lotion thing. and I truly apoligize to all. I mean I apoligize for any offensive language, not my believe that salon formulas should only be sold in salons![This message has been edited by buntanner (edited 06-14-2001).]
