If you DID go forward, you would probably want to do more of a "boutique" higher end salon. But the room sizes and electric and HVAC probably won't support that without an upgrade.
Equip for a 7 room salon --- if you did a "traditional" mix (that doesn't sound like it would be profitable in the situation you describe) could be done for under 20K to 50K used. Doing a high end boutique mix might be more like 50-100K.
All in, with licensing, insurance, upgrading electric, upgrading HVAC, maybe working on room size changes, getting new signage, inventory, towels, decor, product inventory,....... AND your equip --- you would be looking at anywhere from 50K to 200K all in. But the 50K end --- would be VERY unlikely to be a good investment for you. | Thanks Sally! It's seems not a very good investment on my part especially when there are two other local salons.. .already doing fairly well... There's another location across town but that's also between a Deseret Sun and a PF that's across town... in a strip mall... |
