Re: Bed is overheating

Do you have the bed vented to the outside? Maybe the fact that you had 3 sessions back to back caused a heat issue. I'm lucky to run 3 sessions a week, none back to back. lol Do you have a 4 minute cool-down?

Send me your email address to Ann.Wiggins.Noe@gmail.com and I will shoot you over a copy of the manual. No - it isn't just the one exhaust. There are a series of fans for each of the facials. Perhaps one or more have failed - either mechanically, or a fan board?

Re: Bed is overheating

There is only one central exhaust with all heat being pushed out that exhaust by the fans located in each lamp bank. In the exhaust stack is a sensor which shuts the bed down if it gets too hot. If the bed isn't shutting off in the middle of a session, you have other issues, other then heat.

Re: Bed is overheating

We took the bed apart again, and re cleaned the fans and wiped down the filter glass. Now have used it twice and has been working fine. There was very little dust in the bed, but that seems to have fixed the problem so far. Thank goodness!! That has been a popular bed for us. Thank you for your responses.

I have a 3 minute cool down, but I will change it to 4 minutes. Good idea!

Re: Bed is overheating

Good luck, and as I said before the filter glass does get extremely hot. It's the nature of the beast.
