Slow season deals I opened in January so started with a booming season. Now that the slow season is upon us, anyone have any good ideas to help generate some business. It was suggested to me NOT to discount the tanning, but kinda at a loss as to what "deals" would work. Any suggestions? There is no other competition in my small town. On another note - this website is nice but good grief it is hard to navigate so I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section. |
Re: Slow season deals Hi Earth! We also don't, as a rule, discount our core services. That said, during the off season, we (and many other salons) run a "Tan 'til 2014" promotion. While the customer gets a good value (it's less expensive than our regular monthly membership), you're not discounting your existing services, and it conveniently disappears when peak season hits. |
Re: Slow season deals Give away free upgrade visits with lotion purchases. Feature an upgrade bed each week and allow customers to use it for free. This encourages upgrade package purchases and sales of lotions. |
