Rep Power: 0 | Existing Salon Closed 18 Months UK Hi there :) We are currently negotiating rent and lease terms with the Landlord for an existing salon with 10 beds on the outskirts of London UK. The salon has been closed for 18 months and, it seems the original tenants disappeared leaving everything behind, which the bailiffs awarded to the Landlord, probably in lieu of rent owed. The salon is tired and needs refurbishing but electrics, air con, cubicles etc. are in place. The Landlord has had the electrics safety tested after the tenants were ejected. The Landlord has basically offered us the beds and all equipment left behind free, as long as we are prepared to take responsibilty for them either for our own use or disposal. We are prepared to relamp and fix up the beds if they are fixable and viable, perhaps get rid of some and either rent or purchase a couple of more high end beds, we need one perhaps two of the existing cubicles for spray tanning . After much research and study of the photos we took while viewing the salon, we have discovered the beds are as follows: 1 x UWE S Class 3 x UWE Power of Love 3 x UWE Black Energy 2 x UWE? Tutti Frutti (Yellow Beds) 1 x Tansun Symphony stand up with built in changing room. We read that UWE went bankrupt and are wondering if parts are still readily available, and how viable it would be to get these beds going again, whether to keep some, none or all. Any advice or comments gratefully received, thanks. :) |

Have you inquired as to why the original operators left? Could be lack of business and rather than suffer any more financial loss, it was easier to hit the road...not unusual. Perhaps you could move beds to better location..I would not turn down 'free' UWE beds |
