Is this a good business to buy?

In the current environment of economic outlook, regulatory climate and people's preferences, is Tanning a profitable business to buy?
I understand that profitability and business fundamentals have a lot to do with location, financials, equipment, etc etc, but my question is given all that, Is Tanning still a good business industry to get involved?

I would appreciate honest responses for all you, please.

People who know how to run a business are doing great. Having said that, I have seen five salons close for every one I have seen open in the last 5 years. What is your business background?

It takes deep pockets.

A minimum of 350K-500K is needed. Yes, you could buy a salon off Craigslist for 50K.

However, there is a reason it is worth so low, and chances are it will never be worth more.
