I need help!

I recently bought out a salon. I'm changing the name and the look and its been a success so far. I really need to upgrade some of my beds. I have five beds I really want to sell or trade in for at least 4 new beds. The beds I have now are..
1. 2 Sundash 2002 Ompetition 226 both with about 3000 hours.
2. 2 Tropical 2002 32Gb both with about 2500 hours
3. Suncapsule VHR Euroseries 8,000 hours

What are these worth and what should I get!!! I need to do this fast.

Thanks

A few questions:
What size are the rooms?
How much power/amps do you have available?
How much A/C is in the place?

Those beds are not worth much, maybe $1000 to $1200 each.

Re: I need help!

John is being to kind,

2 Sundash, very little...both 26 lampers, so better usage for home units, not a pro tan salon today...about $900-950

Are the 'Tropicals', Tropical Rays beds by American Mfg, or Tropical by UWE..if the latter, john may be right, if not, then less than the Sundash

Doubt any salon would be interested in any of the beds...Craigslist or ebay best alternatives, but then you have to deal with shipping

Re: I need help!

I have two a/c units.
Rooms are about 10x6.5 ft
I have one box that says 120/240 Voltage 200 AMP
Another says 120/208 Voltage 100 AMP

Re: I need help!

Those rooms are too small for most big beds to fit & get proper airflow.

Your amps should be fine. I would try finding some used Ambitions.
Maybe 2 of the 250's & 2 of the 300's. Then do a new stand up also, 8000 hrs is a ton on that Suncapsule. Try finding a newer 200W or 220W unit.

Re: I need help!

I'd keep the Tropicals since they are UWE. If acrylics in shape, just replace lamps...make them your base beds...

Look for some pre-owned 160w beds, tho room size would concern me.

Replace, as John mentioned, the Suncapsule with a 200+watt bed...does not have to be a Suncapsule
Then you should be good to go

Re: I need help!

Both John and Black Sun are being too kind on the value of your equipment. The UWE equipment has some value ($700-$800), but the other laydowns, maybe $400-$500, for home use. The Standup is ready for the dumpster. If you were to find someone to take that equipment off your hands, Trade etc., consider a free removal, with maybe a $500 trade value on all. Like John said, Ambitions would be a nice upgrade to your salon. I've got both the 250 and 300, and they really do a nice job. Good luck

Re: I need help!

I also have a Sundash 252 stand up that needs new bulbs and acrylic. Should I replace them or sell?
