Re: Help me analyze this salons financials?

My estimate, for what it is worth, but I am sure won't vary much from anyone else:

#1 Protan 2800..less than $300
Sonnebraunen732 $500-$800 more on the low end
Tanses $500
Sola FX...never heard of it, so I am giving it $600 value, which is generous
Sunliner...$400 for both
None of above beds are made any longer...the best out of the bunch, the Diva Tower, $900 tops, but that is kind

Salon2
All beds are useless..., Sunliner no longer made..stopped production in 2003-2004, at which time the Sunliner41 used was $1100.00 (I had 2)

No salon could make it with 28 lamp beds...those are as powerful as home units....need a minimum of 32 lamps to be competitive, and then jump from there

i would think that a studio today would need to be smaller than that....
we actually downsized after all of our competition died off, we moved to a smaller location with less rent.
i sure hope you check out what the median average home income is and also go shop the other tan studios. we usually purchase a week and meter there beds, ask em questions to figure out how smart they are in comparison to our workers, haha.
GET SMART TAN Certified, make sure they have insurance already and find out their REVIEWS!
Roscoe,
How do you meter the competitions beds?

Use a Solarmeter. Start your collection with the 5.0

Buy a session, hop in and meter away.
