Very good Christmas sales. Lotion sales up - Gift cards way up- and new clients way up.
Nothing like 10 years ago, but still not coplaining at all.

We are right on schedule here, picked up right after November, but I think it depends on area and mostly if you did a "take over", or built from scratch. I was one of the idiots that started from scratch and got my *** handed to me for the first 3 years....hang in there Graves!!

This December closed 38% over last year's December - up 60% year over year. Granted, it was only my second full year after a take over / turn around, and the business before was closed for 8 months before I took over. Looonnnggg sllooowww steady build up of clients and sales over the last 2 1/2 years.

Even I have finally signed up to tan at a place other than my bed in the basement. It just makes the bones feel better and the face look better.

CODE is still the best lotion from DC BTW.

Eng, where you been? I checked the other forum, and you weren' there either. I Hadn't been over there in months, I really know why; What a bunch of cruel people over there. A newby over there soon fears for his life.

Soon to change now that Leif purchased the sight…..some of the 'old gang', from Bruce to Drew to AlexR may even be coaxed back…I am trying to hunt down MJ and Shelia to add some spice as well..

I will never forget asking my first question over there. I was tarred, feathered, and thrown in the street. If I remember, MJ and Shelia were part of the lynch mob. Back 6 or 7 years ago. it was a know-it-all forum, and no place for a newby, trying to ask a simple, maybe stupid question.

This forum is the only one i remember the password to. Also I'm a software engineer so tanning doesn't come up much. I just started tanning at a place last week and it's sad that the lotion industry still doesn't get it.

I still say the days of John Abate were the best years of tanning lotion.
