Looking to purchase business - help identifying beds?

I am hoping to purchase a salon within the next week or two. I could use a little help identifying beds. One salon has all ergoline beds and she has been in business since 2002. But, then there is this one that has the following beds. Would anyone be willing to offer a little input.
1. Pro Sun 620 SLi VHR 48/160 4/1000
2. Dr. Mueller Orbit 44/160 4/1000
3. Sun Capsule Perfect Ten VHR 54/160
4. Pro Sun Lumina Sun Express 40/160 3/400
5. Pro Sun Lumina 16/160 16/100 9/25
6. Solaris Plus Speed System 42/100 3/400
7. Pro Sun Lumina Blue Diamond 36/100 21/25
8. Pro Sun Lumina Venus 18/160 16/100 3/400
9-12. Sun Dash Competiton I232 32/100 11/25

they are asking 45k. The place itself is gorgeous.

Anyway, thanks for any help that can be offered to a newbie.

Alright, thank you! Trying to educate yourself on numorous different tanning beds in a crash course is a little overwhelming and confusing. At least to me. Appreciate your input/help.

The beds are all antiques.

Re: Looking to purchase business - help identifying beds?

If you want to save on the build out and have a datebase to get started, sure; but I would knock the price down. Sell the beds off and get a new lin-up. You could start with less beds and make more money. Make sure the fixed expenses are in line, IE: $/sq.ft. Also, run a UCC on all beds and make sure that there are no liens.

You would have a hard time duplicating a "gorgeous" 12 bed salon for 45k. Make sure the location makes sense and it is not the reason for the sale.

ALWAYS do an asset purchase, not the business.

The Sundash 232's may be older but they are workhorse beds that can work well if you have the right mix of other beds,
