eft setup question. PLEASE HELP ME

I am using Salontouch and would like some input on setting up the EFT service. I have a Hypercom unit for processing credit cards, so so I need a separate scanner for the EFT? Can the bank do this for us, or do I need to purchase a service also. I'm just not sure how this all works. My 30 day support on SalonTouch ran out and we are not even open yet. It took awhile to figure it out and when I would call them, they returned the call 3-4 hours later. Now they want $450 to answer this question. I payed $1,000 for the software!!

we use our bank for a flat monthly fee no matter if we have 50 or 500 EFTs, but ours is check draft.

Re: eft setup question. PLEASE HELP ME

just call your banks business services, some call it EFT and some call it ACH. we use our bank for personal banking, business banking, credit cards and EFT and we love it. if we have any questions about anything, we can always get someone on the phone, almost always the same three people and never have any problems. we think it is better than dealing with third parties who are going to penny and fee you to death. if we are unhappy about something, we can see them in person.

Re: eft setup question. PLEASE HELP ME

what are the benefits of using either credit cards or bank drafts (ach)? which is easier and costs for each? just starting and need direction. Last thing I want to do is start with 1 system and then have to change later.
