Bought an existing salon (9 years ago)and made a lot of changes...I have found it very profitable to carry Sunglasses, a few candles, sweat & T-shirts(w/ my Logo on), teeth whitening and resort & swimwear. (I purchase through Heartland Tanning/California Clothing) I do a lot of business in add on sales. It's all about believing in the product. There are a lot of "opinions" on here, but I tried a lot of different things, made a lot of mistakes along the way, but I learned from everything. Don't be discouraged, you know your community and what people may need/want better than someone on these boards who isn't familiar w/ your "type" or concept for your salon. |
