Rep Power: 0 | customer spending habits hello~ i'm interested in finding out what the average annual spend is for indoor tanning customers. someone trying to sell me equipment stated somewhere between $65-$75. What are your thoughts? Where can I find reliable info like this? thanks in advance! |

It is self-report so who knows how valid it really is. But yes, the number that has been thrown around as long as I've been in the industry is what you said. That means, if you had 1000 active customers in your database, in theory, you would be grossing $65-75K/yr. Not profit of course - just gross. From there you can do the math to see how many active clients you would need to pay all your bills and then make profit. Assuming they spent the average suggested. In reality, all salons will be different depending on their pricing strategies, sales skills, equipment mix, saturation of competition, marketing efforts, etc. Hope that helps - | |
