It's roughly a 3000 square foot area. How many amps should I increase it to? It's a 3 phase/100amp now. About how much would it cost? |

The cost for the additional electrical would depend on a number of factors including code requirements, local labor rates and the length the electrician would have to run the wire for the additional service. Sorry, but there is no set amount that a 200 amp or 400 amp service should cost. Don't forget to factor in other items such as HVAC, lighting, washer, dryer, etc. in your electrical needs. You mentioned additional HVAC, how may tons do you currently have? |

I'm probably just going to purchase a new unit. how many tons do you recommend? I'm estimating about $1500 to bump it up to 300 amp. Lucky for me, the previous owner of the building is an electrician. So, he's already agreed to help at little or no cost, which is a huge cost savings. |

If the building has the capacity but its just service to your area that needs an upgrade then yes, it will cost less. But even then there is a chance it will run a pretty penny. It depends on the run and a lot of other factors.

I have 4 ZX303F and the rooms would run close to 95 degrees during peak season with back to back sessions. After I vented the beds into the drop celing and installed a exhast vent inside the drop celing,it dropped the temps in the room to 85 degrees running back to back sessions. Now the A/C might cycle once a day and 3-4 times a day during the busy season.Thats with 250 ppl per day and a 1300 sq ft salon space. Excercise all of your options before investing a fortune The sunstars were a piece of cake.about 40 bucks in material. opened closed | |

They were happy to do it in fact, but only after I asked (and insisted). Expect nothing. Be creative when you ask for stuff. You might be surprised. |
