Re: How to start a Mobile Tanning Biz.

It's on the floor below the picture on the wall. It wheels around very easily but the handle sticking up doesn't slide down to make it easier to fit into a trunk. It's not very heavy so that's not a problem. It's by far the most attractive unit I've seen. http://www.infinitysun.com

Re: How to start a Mobile Tanning Biz.

Sonya - Insurtec is very reasonable for mobile tanning. I am sure that if you have a salon the mobile is covered under neath that...but I am strictly mobile up here in northern california. I know that my car insurance does not cover business liability.

Anyways...let me know if you need any help.

Okay guys, here's another question, Ph. I heard that there is a spray that you can spray people with before you tan them that lowers their Ph. That this is good for very fair skinned individuals because having a lower Ph helps to prevent the "orange". Anyone know anything about this?

Re: How to start a Mobile Tanning Biz.

yes there is a product that does that. Mostly it is called pre tan prep spray. Mostly it is used if someone's tan doesn't last very long or they haven't exfoliated before they come in to get sprayed. As for the orange. That comes from over spraying, too high of a DHA or cheap solution .

Re: How to start a Mobile Tanning Biz.

I am interested in starting a mobile tanning business in my area, I am so confused about what equipment to buy and what solution to buy, I have researched until my head is spinning TMI! I live in a small town and don't know if it will go over very well so I don't want to spend a lot of money at first. I want to see how it goes then upgrade. I was looking at may be a home system to start out with. Any help would be appreciated more then you know. Thank you. Char

I saw solomist on ebay but couldn't find any reviews on it so I stayed away. I ordered minimist only because of the good reviews. But good to know about solomist that's a pretty inexpensive system and would be great for a backup.
