Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Just scouted Hollywood Tan here in San Diego Well, we just scouted a Hollywood Tan here in San Diego. The prices were ok, $70/month for their most expensive EFT, $25 for the lowest. The owner of the salon I visited owns 11 Hollywood Tans. One really interesting thing I saw was that ALL of their tanning beds were stand-up, from base to HP, to their own version of the Mystic. All the beds look exactly the same from the outside. Capsules with their dressing room. My question is, is this a sign of where the industry is going? Are standups the way of the Tanning Industry future? They are more sanitary, and less to clean. -John V |

No they are not more sanitary if you sanitize your beds..... they are however easier to have an employee sneak and not clean a unit at all if they are to lazy.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Just scouted Hollywood Tan here in San Diego we do a really low price on our suncapsule which makes it the best deal in the salon, its a great bed for people who are too big or tall ffor a reg bed. but dirty, mine gets so dirty, especially when its season one after the other they are waiting 4 in line, but the time we get in there , there is lotion all over the bulbs, in the dressing room, sweaty sticky , we clean and clean and clean and it never seems to be clean the grime on the grates, i hate it for that reason, the customers love it, i will have to replace soon, and start fresh. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() | Re: Just scouted Hollywood Tan here in San Diego If you let 4 tanners do sessions before you clean it I can see why it gets so dirty. Busy season or not, clean your beds and booths between each customer. If you think it's dirty, what do you think they are thinking? But then, that's just what I think...so think about it. |
