If you have more specific questions there are enough very intelligent and savvy business people to answer your questions. I'm surprised that someone hasn't already pointed out the search feature here start searching newbies section equipment salon management lotions, etc. sounds like the purchase has been made before the proper research has been done I am relatively new to the tanning business (opened in Feb) Researched this business a long time before opening and still learning everyday

Rep Power: 103 | Re: need some help Go to the Expo in Nashville in October. Take advantage of every class available. Look at bed manufacturers, distributors, etc. Make contacts and visit salons that are not in your area. If you have business experience in other areas, you will do better than someone that does not have business experience. I personally think it is easier to learn about the products and services than to learn about sales techniques, sound business practices such as budgeting, advertising, etc. Your friends chose you for something they saw in you. You will do fine if you understand that your job now is to learn everything you can about the business. Good Luck
