Rep Power: 103 | Re: The Dream and Struggles of Opening a New Salon I worked as a business consultant for approximately 5 years in the early 90's. I was trying to sell my services to a business owner when he asked me "If you know so **** much, why ain't you doing it yourself?". I couldn't answer him. I discovered that, when it is your own money, you look at things differently than you do as a consultant. If you are going to get someone to pay you for your ideas, you need to prove you know what you are talking about. First of all, there is no such thing as a sure thing. When you say that you have something that has proven to be successful 100% of the time, the first thing that I think is that you are full of crap. (Not saying you are, just the impression I get from your post.) The last statement in your post sounds a lot like you are going to sell me a bed with electronic ballasts rather than magnetic. You would do better to sell the steak, because I just don't hear the sizzle.
