What am I going to name my salon???? - tanTALK

I am opening a studio here shortly. I can not find a catchy name that will stand out!! I am going for the european urban look with lots if metal, IKEA furnishings, making it look "high class" and as well being high class. Kinda like www.sunsettanning.com.
Any one out there that may have so cool ideas.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there Rawdogoddess,

Maybe a name for an edgy and urban salon as you explained, could be......

"KrypTANite"

I liked that name for my biz, however it didn't quite suit the whole Fiji style and theme down here.

Let us all know what you decide on! Is there a prize??? hehehe....just kidding

How does tanning do on tropical islands?

Hi Sandigirl....good question...

We concentrate mostly on the "Wedding/Honeymoon Market" here. 1000's of overseas travellers come to Fiji each year to have their ceremonies here....it's big business! Targeting those who choose not to tan in the sun or can't tan has been sucessful, even tho we are on a tropical island! Having said that, there are also a lot of tourists who either want to start or finish their vacations with a natural looking "tan". It's working well down here :)

I DO like the KrypTANite name! That is great! I think driving buy having that name you would do a double take. At lease I would. I am totallly a person that buys into commercials and what to target people like me who want to try something or anything NEW! Thanks I will let you guys know what I come up with! I was thinking of XOTIC TANS Studio. Kinda edgy with the X. YES IKEA is the greatest! Cheap, great looking and to furnish my studio, I can do it with IKEA for $1500 CDN. WOW I Say!

Choosing a name is harder than selecting the beds in my opinion. KrypTANnite is very cool. GOOD LUCK!

We have only just recently started up here, so not hiring yet....wow.....it would be nice if I didn't have to actually advertise for staff in the future....will put you on the list
