I have 12 beds, all ERGOLINE and 1 Mystic Mymyst. It is worth it to put in the best equipment, 2 other salons already shut their doors because we opened 6 months ago. www.exoticexposuretanning.com |

I watch salons open up for 250K-500K all the time (nice pergo floors, ergoline equipment, really detailed build out)..... they usually go under within 2 years cuz they spent so much money. You spend alot, you gotta charge alot. Ergoline doesnt tan you any different than a Heartland Tan Bed, and customers realize that pretty quickly (within a year).. Usually they smarten up and go somewhere else that is affordable. European salons are just not really that popular anymore because people have caught on to the tanning industry. Plus, in this economy?? Of course no offense to Exotic Exposure, but in reality that was a BAD move. Im sure I will get yelled at for this post, but I speak truth. Been in the biz a long time, but I laugh and shake my head when someone tells me they opened a salon and it was more than 200K. It just doesnt make sense.

WE HAVE TAKEN OUT 3 OTHER SALONS IN A 10 MILE RADIUS, WE ARE IN PANAMA CITY BEACH AND PEOPLE DO WANT TO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY TO GO INTO NEW EQUIPMENT, THE SALONS THAT OFFER TANNING AT 25.98 FOR 15 YEAR OLD BEDS ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS LEFT AND RIGHT! AND I DID HAVE ALL CASH TO OPEN THE SALON, AFTER 6 MONTHS WE HAVE 1700 TANNERS ...AND WE HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...IT ALSO HELPS THAT WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WITH HIGH PRESSURE BED! |
