How do you all come up with a name?? I have several wrote down but just can't seem to like any of them! I will also be doing airbrush tans..any ideas??

You need to check first to see which ones are already taken and narrow it down from there.Think about your theme and what will go best with the theme.Also when people are looking for a salon they tend to start with the first one Alphabetically...so I would not want one that starts with a "Y".

Well I see your in Texas and I thought of (going by what coconut said) is

A Texan Tan

or

Lone Star Tanning

Not sure if these are taken or not just something that popped into my head

Always think about name branding when choosing a name. Keep it to the point. Look at these names.
Palm Beach Tan
Planet Tan
Executive Tan
Beach Tan
These are all large chains, the common thread is names. Easy to identify with the word TAN at the end. This is no accident. Long cute names are difficult to market.

$4.00 per tan <<poor neighborhood
$30.00 per tan <<filthy rich neighborhood
joe's tan and wine bar
a salon without a name
no name tanning salon
nameless tanning
we need a name
our beds don't burn

take your pick

Patty, I asked this same question a few weeks ago because I am RENAMING my salon. A fella from tantalk emailed me a list that had over 5 thousand names.I can forwared that email to you if you would like. Just pm me and I'd be happy to. I still haven't got through the entire list but there was some great ones! Good Luck!
