Hi guys, My names Daniel and i guess i would call myself a newbie i have worked with tanning alot but just 2 months ago bought a salon here in troutdale OR. Alot of people call trying to sell lotions to me buy 6 get 12 free, i never purchse from them because they sould like a call center. I have been purchaseing lamps directly from Tan America, and ordering my lotions through Salon Support in Texas or here locally from SCA Sun Systems. they both seem to be very helpfull. |

We have purchased the beds through Sunco but have heard of so many different distributors for lotions & lamps. My original plan was to stick with Sunco for these items, but there are some less expensive options out there. My question is just how likely is it that the products are worthy of purchase from some of these other distrubutors. I know for myself one weak tanning experience (bad bulbs/old lotion) convinces me to never return to that particular salon again. I don't ever want that to happen to my salon. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank You, Tanning Centers |

I have been doing in and out research and finally saved enough to open a salon…. My question is what will be the biggest output of your budget and what the unexpected outputs are. I have looked at numerous sites and locations here to see what they offer... but the internet seems to get disorienting after a while.. If anyone who can offer help on my question and can tell me reliable sources for beds and lights it would be greatly appreciated….. |

I know that i want to replace 2 older 20 minute Ruva beds and replace them with a quality used system in the under 15 minute range. What particular systems would you suggest. Newbie |

I bought an existing salon, and the previous owner suggested that I stay with Four Seasons, because they get the orders to you quick. Usually, 2 days. They give us a good discount off of the salon prices, and are very helpful. I have found exactly that with them. I deal with Elizabeth there, and she has went above & beyond to help me gain the knowledge I need about the business. She sent me a huge packet with forms, information posters, ideas for promotions, and any other information she thought I might be able to use. If I have any questions about the business I call her. If she doesn't have an answer for me, she finds out and gives me a call back. Even if it has nothing to do with the products she sells. Just general information. She has been a life saver! |

Re: to the newbies please read! Hi ~ I'm looking into purchasing the "Mini Mist True HVLP Airbrush ". QUESTION 1. Is it possible to CONTOUR details with this machine? 2. Is there a machine someone suggests for CONTOURING as well as full body tanning? 3. Is there a machine someone suggests for TANNING and MAKEUP? Thank you so much | |
