Ok, and how to figure out if you are getting enough per visit. Take the purchase price, divide by 1000. If your walkins are less than that, you aren't charging enough, more and you are getting your money.

i agree with everyone... i don't know how you could make profit off $5 a session for that we charge 14 non member

Wait now, if you are charging $5 per visit in that thing, what are you getting for your "base" beds? A nickel?

i have a starpower, i get $9 walkin, $95 month walkin and charge my members a $3 upgrade

WOW, 5.00 for Starpower session? My customers would cry if they saw this post. I charge 12 a session, 5 for upgrade with membership. No unlimted for this bed.

O' ya I charge 6.00 for base beds, 7.00 for face tanners. Still customers dont even think twice about paying 12 for the Starpower. Bulbs are the best I could find, give nice color.

Have you written a solid business plan?

Bank the money for operational expenses and cashflow in the off season.. Lease the beds.

Buy extraordinary equipment and charge a premium price. Operate profitably or don't get into the business.

Leasing the beds is not a good idea, you get upside down pretty fast
