How YOUR SKINS TAN>>>how long it takes for thier melanin to oxidize..etc... not overly techinal wording just enough so they leave somewhat educated..with the info in hand...to read later when tehy are done being ******. Important to include the facts and quote as many doctors ( include names & sources) as possible...on teh side effects of over doing it. ONE of which is they dop not achieve the tan they are seeking. they actually stunt the process and over dry thier skin. Placing their skin in constant repair mode....etc You get the picture. Good luck.

Rep Power: 23 | Re: 24 Hour Policy ps. Quote the state regulationsand/or the FDA recommendations... as well. Not to mention the need to drive home the point ---the long term effects of getting a tan yesterday..:eyeroll: OHH and a few hours differece like was mentioned.. is not a huge deal. Some times the tanners schedule is a hairy and yes regulations in some state say nononono! But I would let them know politely this is an exception ---cause they are such a great customer I will do it for you this time..yaddayadda give them a pamphlet.. and also let them know the staff is not allowed to do this...only you.

Rep Power: 21 | Re: 24 Hour Policy We are a regulated state with the 24 hour rule. Yeah people get pi$$ed at times, but they do come back. Do what others here have suggested. Issue the customer information and just plain don't do it. End of story. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: 24 Hour Policy Thanks every one I really appreciate the advice. And yes I know it is my salon and I set the rules, but when the previous owner does it everyone expects you to do it as well or they will go some where that does. And yes, South Carolina is a highly regulated state. There must be 24 hours between each tan. I have been trying for a year to get the previous members to realize this, my new members no problems, but the old ones gripe and complain so much. Now I am getting the computer system, so no one will be able to complain about it because the computer won't let them THAT'S MY NEW EXCUSE
