Are you understand he did 4,200.00 his FIRST month he was open? with very little advertising? And if YOU HONESTLY made 17,000.00 your FIRST MONTH open, you need a award for that! You have successfully bet all the Industry standards. | |

I have 8 units and an oxygen bar. I didn't know what a good profit would be, but by your post...17,000 is awesome. Thank you...I needed that! |

How can with only 8 beds you actually see enough people to do 17,000.00, and in your first month. And you are only 23, with those #'s by the time your my age, you should be a millionare! |

My salon did over 17k my first month open however I aslo have a larger overhead. Like Jeff said that is not good. 4,200 is by no means is good your first month open. Especially being a franchise in Febuary your numbers should higher than that. Last edited by MATT A; 03-23-2006 at 03:44 PM. |

Rep Power: 34 | Re: to franchise or not? I live on a beach, our down time is not so bad really, people like to look like they live at the beach even when they can't go to the beach LOL. More likely it is your location and less salons in your area. There are 60 tanning salons in my town, not including hair salons and gyms with tanning... |
