The problem with the Sour Tower is not the starters, it is using 140 watt ballasts to power 180 watt 2 meter lamps. Boat Anchor®.

25000HP is hot box junk.

Ergoline is light years ahead of US in every way. It is not overpriced, you get what you pay for.

Does anyone have any reason why not to go with one of these lines, or what other line might be better? Also...they both show their brand new beds, and their 'older' lines - which I have seen many great comments on also. Feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Muller will dump all over US. The only problem is structural parts are non existent due to the company being out of business.

I would still buy a Sungate over anything that US puts out anyday of the week. Load it with Supra® lamps and turn out real 8 min. sessions all day long.

Re: Anybody using UltraSun equipment?

Brian - someone else had mentioned KDL - and they look great. Any feedback there?
There are just so many different brands - and so many features. KDL, Sungate, UWE, Tan America, Ultrasun.....wow.....

Obviously preference is a big player - but in my town honestly - they don't have the cool beds - they don't change the **** bulbs - they don't care about the consumer - (I am not opening a salon for revenge by any means) - but I am looking forward to giving people what they want. An awesome salon with great people, great beds, and great bulbs! Just really struggling with committing to any one brand - and I surely don't want to make a bad choice here.

I appreciate everyones feedback very much!

Re: Anybody using UltraSun equipment?

Oh, and how about beds from other countries? Italy - Germany?

good idea/bad idea?

If they have locations in US - okay, or not recommended?

Re: Anybody using UltraSun equipment?

Kayci, you got a lot of learning to do. Hit up the "Search" function on this site and start punching in company names. You'll get all the info you need.

Here's the general consensus right now:

HP - Italy
Big VHR - Germany
Small VHR/Base Beds - USA/Germany is fine (Tan America, KBL, Ergoline, etc)
VHR Standup - SunCapsule IMO is the ABSOLUTE BEST LONGEST LASTING UNIT $ CAN BUY

Thanks for your input - I will check out the search - and yes - I have a lot to learn! But I must say - everyone here has been very helpful - and it is most appreciated!

Re: Anybody using UltraSun equipment?

When I said US, it meant Ultra Suck®, not United States.

Dr. Muller/AUVL (Sungate/Giant Sun, Orbit/Sunstorm, Future Sun/Omega³, etc...), KBL (7800, 6800, Diva 7, etc...), UWE (I Bed, S-Class, Sunboard, Tropical, P-90, etc...), Ergoline (Classic 450, 600, 650, Evolution 600, 800, 850, Open Sun 550, 1050, Sun Angel, etc...), are all great German beds.

Sportarredo (Master Sun, N'Joy, LP3, HPO, etc...) Sun Italia (Magic 636, Sunsport Platinum, King etc...), ISO Italia (Matrix), Logicam (Saturn), are all great Italian beds.

Ultra Suck® (Sour Tower, Junk Power, etc...) are beds made in Holland. They had a bed called the Magnum once. You know why they called it that? Because they got done drinking a magnum during the engineering process.

Pro Suck®, (Burn America®, Fartland®, one in the same now) ETS, Suckdash®, etc... are beds that are made in USA or assembled in USA using parts from various suppliers of other countries.

Re: Anybody using UltraSun equipment?

Except for one, I have all Ultrasun beds, and they are low maintenace and great beds. They give great color and my customers love them.
