Rep Power: 0 | Hi everybody. I'm new in the industry and currently doing my research before opening a salon. My biggest question is: Could I run a tanning salon as a self-service business without sales people, etc.? Can I make money without selling packages? Thank you. |

Rep Power: 107 | Received the PM from pilotad: "Thank you for your comment Do you know of anybody who runs a salon as a self-service business? As far as I understand you don't think its going to work. Could you explain? I appreciate your help!" I thought it was fairly obvious why this wouldn't work, but maybe some of you more experienced talkers could enlighten us! |

With all the hard work we put in trying to educate our clients on safe tanning and benefits of ultraviolet light, not having someone there to guide them through the process just sets us back. My lotion sales count for about 20% |
