Rep Power: 68 | You have to be open earlier and later than your competition now. Try a three free ad for new customers. Maybe a free bottle of some cheap cal tan product for everyone who buys a month unlimted for $50, or some good scmidt for everyone who signs up for tan til the end of '05 for $150. Good luck. Of course, if you're in a small market, you could end up losing your butt with these. Good luck. |

Rep Power: 20 | This all goes back to having a complete plan for success. Tanning is very seasonal in respect to when tanners are active. But keeping potential income at a maximum on an annual basis is done by having a 12 month advertising and marketing campaign. You must get a full 12 months of operation under your belt using seasonal strategies. What you do prior to the season will have an impact on the busy season. What you do during the busy season will have a major impact on what happens during the traditionally slower months. All advertising efforts are pieces of a destination map. You do control your own destiny when it comes to the success of your business. You must establish a solid proven plan before you open a salon. You can fix the problem after you are already open as well. Get some knowledgeable assistance with developing a 12 month program. It takes more effort but the rewards are worth the effort. |
