Need some advise! - tanTALK

Hi...I own a day spa type salon. I have spray tan , massage and pedicure. I was looking to put two tanning beds in the shop. Since I only have room for 1 or two I wanted to get something good. Are ten minute beds better? Or should I still do the 20? What brands or types should I get? Thanks for the help

If price is no object then the Ten minute version would allow 2x more clients to tan in any give day. I don't have enough experience to state any specif bed. I only have two 20 minut Sunvision base beds.

My advice is to put a couple of 42/3 12 min beds in. Good luck. Now for the sarcasm: It doesn't matter what tanning beds you put into a nail salon for tanning. It never pays. Wait, that was serious too. Dang!

That is true in most cases, I worked at a salon that had a tanning bed, waste of space, that's about that.

Its not a nail salon...I offer pedicures and massage, but I am an airbrush tanning salon. Some of my clients like to do both UV tanning and get sprayed. I figured if they were gonna do UV tanning, it might as well be at my salon. I just don't really know what kind of beds to get. I really don't want to spend more that 12,000. Thanks for the help.

What price point were you looking to offer because that's a determining factor for which type of bed you get? The price margin between 20 and 10 minute beds can be almost double.

I agree with Angelcat, look into Puretan, and why not get one of each, 1 20 minute 1 10 minute....
