Rep Power: 23 | No Tan Lines - If you will stop YELLING, I will register and start posting. Just kidding. He has a valid point everyone. Many of us are salon owners. Some are new owners, some have had a salon for years. We all have different backgrounds and experiences and the amount of information that we can share is tremendous. Just ask. No question is too big or small. No question is considered stupid. |

Rep Power: 0 | I hope what you say is true tangirl. It is very discourageing to use an area set aside for the new people to use, ask questions and read post on when you get bashed for doing it. I am in no way refering to this sight, but some do exactly that. I spent months in the background afraid to "speak up" because of responses I saw made to other poor souls who asked the same thing I was wanting to ask. I am sure it gets old answering the same questions all of the time, but a simlpe explanation of the search key would be the best approach. I try to do most of my own searching so as not to put anyone out, regardless of the site. |

Rep Power: 23 | Sandman - Please do not hesitate to ask anything at all. Yes, sometimes the same questions get asked over and over again. If we can refer you to an old post that answers your question we will. Sometimes reposting an old question will get new responses from new board members. I can promise you that you will not get bashed here. Quote: On 2001-12-03 16:41, Sandman wrote: I hope what you say is true tangirl. Rep Power: 23 | Disclaimer: Bashing and flaming are NOT the norm here and generally will be dealt with on a case by case basis, but it does occur from time to time when emotions get raw over an issue. And you will usually notice it is not a regular poster that instigates it. I have also had to deal with that elsewhere and decided it wasn't the maturity level I wanted to surround myself with. There are no stupid questions. |

Rep Power: 24 | Sandman... sometimes those of us who have been around for awhile on this site know of previous posts that answer whatever question you may have. In our earlier days we used to stray off topics and the answer you are seeking might be hidden in a thread you would never think of. I am good at pointing people toward old threads that contain lots of information... so ask away. Even if I don't answer, I'll throw a link or two your way whenever I can. We don't like to bash, it's defeating and that's not what we're about. |
