Just got off the phone with a rep from SunLync and he told me that it would cost $3500. for their software(includes training and setup) Is this really what I expct to pay? I will have 8 beds and a mystic, also retail to manage. Also $525.00 per year for support? Is this common? Other suggestions for software please!

Thanx!

Tan Track by Nichesoft---$700, you own the software and no other fees unless you want the annual support. I think that's around $200.

Take a look into Helios. They offer a package for 39.99 per month and no up front cost. That covers the software and unlimited support and upgrades as long as your paying your monthly 39.99.
BUT, that doesnt include hardware, youll still have to purchase your T-Max setup and a computer to put it on. As well, you may want a bar code scanner, a finger print scanner, cash drawer, etc. Which can all be purchased from Dell or dell's outlet (www.delloutlet.com).
Helios can be tracked remotely and is extremely versitle for large or small salons. As well, it seems that almost every large and/or succesful salon that Ive seen has been using it (not a rule of thumb, maybe just a coincident).
Good Luck!!

I own a gym along with my tanning salon, and we just paid almost $5000 for software and setup. That doesn't include the hardware we bought. Depending on what you want the software to do (no matter the industry) it can get REALLY expensive.

Ya, but I'd rather deduct $700, instead of $5000, especially when the bottom line is negitive.

sunlync also offers thumb print, electronic signature and you can monitor your salon anywhere with an internet connection. It will let you see what beds are being used and how long they've been dirty. It also offers the ultimate in salon security. A salon owner wouldn't even be able to hide a transaction. With all the employee theft happening nowadays, isn't that a little important? You really do get what you pay for which is rare in any industry nowadays.

you get what you pay for, we have 9 salons with sunlync, after working through the first few bumps with the conversion from helios, the software is great. any issues they create a fix, and the tech support answers the phone. after using helios for the past 12 years sunlync backs there stuff.
