Rep Power: 107 | Sorry???????? A real salon owner??????? You are not!! Real salon owners start a salon because they are into tanning. Real salon owners start out with a dream to make their "hobby" a fruitful business. You. Are not a real salon owner, you are an investor, looking for profits, and nothing but!! You have investors looking for the dame. Some of us "real" salon owners are trying t feed our children and pay our daily bills. You don't need tanning to do that do you??????? I likes ya DW but you have to come down to the reality of tghe average salon owner. |

Rep Power: 0 | Your build out is one of the most important steps in starting your tanning salon. You want to be able have your lanlord do as much as they can for you. When dealing with your lease it is important to bring the follwing to the table. Upgrades for Air, electric and that they pay for part of your build out. The first two should not be a problem the third would be nice to have them chip in. Some will some won't it depends on how well you deal with them and what they are willing to do. Make sure to hire a good company with good standing and good referals. Make sure you have time line when they must be finished and have them sign a waiver stating that they paid all sub contractors. Some things can be done easier then ohters now Wire less T-Max is an option. Modular walls they have Pro's and Con's to them. Your going to want to over estimate Air and Electric. Have an attorney look over your lease and contract with your builder it is worth it. During build out keep the windows sealed until the front lobby is ready for buis. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING YOU DO IS ON BLACK AND WHITE |

Rep Power: 107 | DW, you can feed your children from all you're other investments in real estate. Better than most of us trying to make a living in tanning. Sheeeesh! Is this where sunsally walks in from stage left, with more words of wisdom???????? |

Rep Power: 25 | Hey Neon - I spent the evening at the ballpark with my kids and friends rather than drinking and badmouthing people behind the glow of the computer screen in some tanning chat room. Grow up, get over yourself and leave my name out of it! |

Rep Power: 0 | I have no idea what his issue is...I wanted to try and have salon owners post their build out costs....it is one of the most important steps when you are opening a salon I have only had sarcastic remarks, and little to nothing, for new salon owners to gage their costs....maybe we can get back to the original topic without worrying about feeding Neons family....apparently his salon is more important because he is the only one who needs to feed his children! |
