Rep Power: 23 | Believe it or not???!!! I bought my body gun from Home Depot or Lowes for 49.00 plus tax...and my face & detail gun for 89.00 from my disty...the hose from Homey D was 8.00 and the face gun came with one...I bought some extra solution bottles from my disty in 2 & 3 oz sizes and I am in business...my hubcap made my room with the exhaust fans and heat & drying fan and we have a total of 650.00 invested in our whole room...hence we have made a profit from the 2nd month on...and that was 2 years ago...We also use Norvell sunless spray as thats what we have felt was the best with NO orange effects what so ever.. If you want more info about our room fell free to email me...Have a great day!! Rep Power: 20 | I have tried everything at Lowes and Home Depot but when I got really into it and decided to charge for my services I broke down and bought the Cal Tan 3000 because it is meant for what we really need to do. They make money on it because it actually does the job right. I even tried a Wagoner paint spray. HEHE |

Rep Power: 0 | When you spray someone with a paint gun you have way too much overspray (why do you want to waste your $ and time cleaning it up) and is much louder than something designed for spraying on a tan. Also how professional does it look to your customers when they see that they could run down to home depot and get the exact same thing. To be absolutely fair I will let you know that I do see LVLP's (not HVLP.) For the amount you paid to set up your system from home depot I can get you a system and enough to product to pay for your investment TWICE.(Based on $25.00 a tan) If you would like to talk to me about that please E-mail me Suddenlytan@peoplepc.com |

Rep Power: 0 | Sorry I Sell LVLP -you just got to luv Idaho English- as to the Gun Vs an Airbrush An airbrush was used to do finger nails it makes as much sense as painting a wall with a fat tip marker-unless they have a new way to do it that I don't know about it used much more solution , takes longer to apply, your client has to stand and be dried, you have to adjust it all the time and clean all the time. The new LVLP's get the price down to a price that doesn't make you choke. Do a search on the LVLP's and check them out. Sprays of rays site is really good for more information. |
