Rep Power: 0 | This is the most important step in your planning of your business. I see a lot of people that come on here and would like all of the answers...right now...but do not want to research and sit down and think about their salon, location, marketing plan, pricing, store layout, and actual constructions, advertising, and everything else that comes with owning your own business. How are you going to present your plan to a lender? For salon owners who have been in business for a couple of years, do you look at your plan again? What type of projections do you create...I think it is important to revisit your plan and constantly tweak it! |

It is so important to analyize more than just demographics..you can have a town with a large popultation and they have a lot of money on paper and they never tan! We always look at all of our options and try to make each client feel like they are a new one! |

Rep Power: 0 | I used a Consultant to help me and he is worth his weight in Gold!! I am not sure why anyone would ever attempt to enter an industry they are new to or not experienced in without the assistance of someone who has seen it all over a long period of time... you can't eliminate all potential risks but you most certainly can enter the "door" with you eyes wide open. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Runnn on 2005-04-24 14:25 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | I see template business plans offered by bplans.com; tanningsalonbiz.com; and numerous ebay CD biz plan sellers ? Are these things worth the paper they are printed on ? Has anyone ever purchased one ? What did you think about it ? |
