Rep Power: 28 | Why do you think you need to pay a special rate to clean? I have had mine just 1 year and it is already paid for. Best investment yet. It has the name recognition and pretty much in my opinion the best tan from sunless. |

Rep Power: 21 | Where did you get the idea that employees received special pay for cleaning? Some booths are self cleaning, others that need to be cleaned by the employees takes no more time than it does to properly clean a bed. |

Rep Power: 0 | ok, our salon does NOT have a mystic, but I am type 2, VERY WHITE with no tan, so I 'mystic-ed' one - two x a week for a good 2 years . . . payng $300 per 10 mystic package, so we are talking a decent amount of $$ and I consider myself a bit of an expert (haha!) . . . I was soending about $4-5 k a year of you break it down & addin all the extras (home maintenance products: exfoliator , whcih was great, maintenance lotion (thin but good moisturizer ) and spray, retail about $180/month for 2 of each & I am in canada) completely stopped with the booth as it started to come off 'patchy' all the time (and I am a narcisist - take excellent care of skin) . . . if you look on the internet you can see pictures of 'stars' like Chritina Aguilera with the signature "mystic elbow" - white circles where your joint bend & rubs it off . . . hear tonnes of complaints from former mystic-ers as wel who have now given it up, including my 2 bestfriends who were both regulars . . . if you do get the booth, pleae can I suggest also offering the products, including the 'perfection" spray - this was a life saver on more than one occassion when i was risking looking like Michael Jackson and I still use this to 'spot' self tan areas that dont tan i the beds as dark (face, neck etc.) about the cleaning - even with the 'self cleaning' ones where you push the button, dont staff still have to squegee & clean the floor?? |

Rep Power: 24 | Sunless is no more work to clean than a tanning bed. It adds revenue to your salon that you otherwise would never get. Some people will never use a tanning bed but still want to look tan. By offering this service you are instantly expanding your customer base and your revenue. |

Rep Power: 0 | "And MOST people will never user a spray booth" and MOST people will never use a tanning booth either. The volume out front of my store is well over 11 or 12,000 cars per day. My # of clients? Tiny small fraction of that. KFC across the street does more traffic in an hour than I see in a week. You might say, "So what?" My answer: EXACTLY! Many don't tan, but those who do are often willing to spray. We had 0 (zero) intentions of getting one. Until we noticed a distinct trend. Customer after customer, on a daily, constant basis, coming in and asking, "Do you have spray tanning ?" You can turn away one or two a day for only awhile before you start doing the math in your head...Hmmm....$50-70 a day...and those are the ones who _ASK_ with NO ADVERTISING. Needless to say, we adjusted our budget and put one in very quickly. I went down to the Hair Salon place 3 doors down from me and said, "Free Spray tanning , right now, for any one who wants it. Only today, while I'm working the salon." I had a line. Days later, they're asking to pay for them. Back to the topic, my MiracleMist has no barrier creams so we don't have a 'Mystic Elbow Circle' and cleanup is actually EASIER (in my humble opinion) than a bed. Push a button. 30 seconds of water sprays down the interior. We use old rags (which are not allowed to be given to customers) to wipe down the inside. I even thought of giving the girls a squeegie to quicken the clean time, but my wife nixed the idea saying, "I want to make sure they're thorough in wiping it down". If your numbers support it....buy it. Take an objective look at how many people will use it, your costs for capital, and how profitable it is in your market. If the numbers look right..just do it. Then you can come back here and read all the reviews of the different booths. |

Rep Power: 22 | Wow guys, we have a sunless booth and I would have to agree that employees don't like to clean it. Boy, anybody that thinks cleaning a sunless booth is no more work than cleaning a tanning bed has either never had one or is selling them. Still I would not trade ours in for anything, we have built an entire customer base that was not there before. |

Rep Power: 21 | Jeni/Mike..If your booth is not self-cleaning, it shouldn't take much more than it takes to properly clean a large bed. If the booth is self-cleaning, then the cleaning is a snap. In either case, the best part of the booth is that the customer is not touching anything and that means you really don't have to clean after each customer. Our's is self-cleaning. the hardest part is using a squeegie to wipe down the water. |
