TMax Manager Pro and TA beds

I am purchasing TA beds with built in wireless TMax, is this a smart buy? I was told I could download the software on my PC. How would they send signals back and forth once the software is downloaded?

Thank you!

Re: TMax Manager Pro and TA beds

I'd ask for a demonstration first, before I bought them.

To control the beds over wireless, you will most likely need a TMax Manager and a G2 Access point for each bed and the Manager. The computer controls the TMax Manager and the Access Points send & receive the wireless signals. I have never seen a TMax bed timer that can be controlled from a computer program without a TMax Manager unit.

There is a wireless receiver AP900 that goes in each room that connects to the onboard tmax timer via a power injector. The tmax sends a signal to the receiver in the room allowing you to operate the bed just as though it was hard wired. This is a great timing system.

They have built-in wired systems as well.

The wire is very easy to run in the salon. The materials are cheaper than the wireless materials. There are pluses and minuses to both systems.

Personally, I prefer wired. But either one will work.
