Rep Power: 0 | Where is the best place to purchase T Max timer system for a new salon? Are there any competing products out there for timers? I am actually considering designing my own system and software (graduated elect/soft eng. haha) Suggestions would be great. |

Rep Power: 0 | It's great to see a fellow EE join the tanning world! T-Max timers are already integrated into many of the newer beds. If you are opening a new salon, odds are you will only need to purchase a T-Max front desk controller. Sure, you could design your own timing system, but the regulatory stuff comes into play. Most insurance companies require that all salon equipment is listed with UL or ETL. Ditto for most electrical inspectors. You will pay $15K to get the safety listings, then continue to pay $300 quarterly, for each design. You will have to allow the listing inspectors into your facility each quarter to examine your design, manufacturing process and documentation. If you plan on using a computer, then you will need to write your own application code and timer interface. Way too much effort. Keep your focus on building your new salon. Give it some thought. I hope you decide that T-Max is a cost effective timing solution . And, YES, we are always monitoring the boards and available to help with any T-Max issues. Rep Power: 0 | We're on a Questar Database...I'm not unhappy with it, not by any means, but we want to upgrade beds in the spring, and most of the new ones have t-max timers already.... Also, they seem to have a nice feature set, and they're easy to understand... |
