Rep Power: 0 | Hi! I am still researching the tanning business and I have more questions! I have done my demographics research and I know the general area where I want my salon. My question is, should I go with a mall (inside) location, or a shopping center location? Both are heavy traffic areas with little competition. My next question is, What does everyone think about Tropical Rayz beds? I have used the search feature, and there isn't enough information for me to make my decision. I know you get what you pay for, but for the owners who have experience with these beds, what are your opinions? Thanks, and this site is wonderful! |

Shipping/setup/staff/promo fees/insurance/hotel stay/space rental are some of the many cost involved. Some companies chose not to go, because past attendance showed no interest in products. In another words; NO RETURN ON INVESTMENT. There have been many reports on the quality of these beds. I will not dispute that. But you are right. You get what you pay for. Try Sontegra..do a search, and not one negative word ever said...that IS quality, and they will be in Orlando. |

Resarch it yourself. Demographics/competition/type equipment/marketing strategy all play into this. Even in the same city, locations can be different. I have seen successful salons in back alleys, and failed salons on major highways..location is not the key. Service is. |

Rep Power: 23 | My big store is located in the back of a small stripmall. There was no way to find for over ten years unless some one told you exactly where it was at. I was able to pull it off because I was the only game in town for years. Finally this year we were permitted a road sign. Flick |
