I'm trying to fill out an application for insurance and I'm not sure about a few of the questions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
1. Maximum percentage of UVB rays being emitted from beds/booths?
(I was under the assumption that the percentage would vary depending on several factors)
2. Is there a maximum limit for a single exposure time?
(I thought that was determined by the manufacturer ex. 10,12,15 or 20 minute bed.)
3. Are warnings posted regarding pregnancy and the hazards of exposure to tanning rays?
(I've never seen these posted anywhere and I thought there were different opinions regarding that issue.)

I had to answer the same questions. Put "various" down for % of UVA/UVB. I put down the max. exposure time of my longest bed, "20 min". And I said that I would have something posted regarding the dangers of UV exposure, my release document has phrases warning about UV exposure and UV exposure and pregnancy. I plan on taking a copy of my release document and having it posted somewhere. Side note: and I don't know if this effects you or not, but there is a "Tans R Us, Inc." that has three salons in California.

Thank you for the response, it really helps. As for the Tans R Us thing, I didn't know about any salons in California with that name but I quess it's okay if they use it, I don't really mind.
