Re: DMX, XM, TFBN,...whats the best satellite radio?

Are you kidding? Get a frikkin Sirius radio $12.95/month or $400 FOREVER. Plug into current radio setup and rock on!

The ability to have specific music in each room IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF $$$ EVER. Your place has an atmosphere and the music is part of it.

$300 cancel fee. What garbage.

Re: DMX, XM, TFBN,...whats the best satellite radio?

Keep in mind the marketing benefit of your sound system. A closed system with your own produced commercials becomes as beneficial as having a sales person in each room. The DMX system can increase sales. Salon owners should take advantage of every possible opportunity to increase sales. In store marketing with your sound system is a great idea.

Re: DMX, XM, TFBN,...whats the best satellite radio?

We just signed up with TFBN. They sell you the music distribution system (10 outputs for $599) that hook directly to the bed speakers or your own speakers.

The client gets to push a button for a choice of four different types of music plus you get to set the maximum volume level in each room.

They send you a new dvd each month and the music channels include tanning commercials for the lotions you sell. Perfect!

Someone should put this thread out of it's misery. BUT, for anyone that is going to see this post, try Pandora. It's free, totally customizable and for the most part commercial free. Run from one of your workstations, a standard 3.5mm jack will plug into the "aux" of your existing system.
