Rep Power: 0 | Both companies are, in my opinion, A+. ETS..had some bad PR over years because, #1..they sold to the Home Market for personal use. This "P'd" off salon owners in the early days, because they saw this as competition, so it was easier to bad mouth them. With the help of on-line forums, they were blasted. However, MANY manufacturers and distributors sell to the home market. Three years ago, due to new management at ETS, the company took off in a NEW and BETTER direction. They held open forums with salons world wide. Got a feel for what was needed and wanted. This resulted in some of the BEST beds ETS has had ever. The new improved Solaris/StarPower can not be beat. The MegaPower and SunScape has had some positive acceptance in the market place. Thes beds are on par with the European companies...for much less $$$ Heartland..GREAT company as well. Beds are American made (as are ETS). The beds are solidly built/attractive and perform well. Also, a fraction for the cost. The beds are wide/roomy. They offer some great customer service. Personally, if I had to select between the two, I would find it difficult. I have neither of their beds. I am a AUVL/Mueller user. If you are baseing it on looks (since both are top performers), I feel ETS with its silver 2 toned Solaris, Orange-red StarPower, and Red SunScape from ETS would win. Heartland is either solid white, or black..which easily shows fingerprints. You would do a great deal of wiping beds. |
