Rep Power: 0 | Hello I currently have a part-time airbrush tanning service that I do out of my home. I am considering starting a business offering the airbrush and sunless spray tanning booth. I have done alot of reading on the Sunless spray tanning booths available, quite spendy. What I come up with most in my research is the Mist-On System and the the lawsuits they have filed against other spray tanning booth companies. Is is safe to buy a Spray tanning booth other than Mist-on? Are people still using the Sunless Express? If I come across a Sunless Express, do you suggest I stay away from buying this unit, since they are no longer allowed to make or sell the booth? |

From what I understand for them even to look ok you still need a light base tan. Everyone I know who tans tried it a few times and then went back to regular tanning. |

Rep Power: 107 | I agree with both of the above posts. If you have airbrushing and it works for you stick to it. Don't waste $30,000 on spray booths that are streaking and blotching people left and right................ |

Rep Power: 21 | Okay, here are some facts so you can make an educated decision. Everyone said indoor tanning was a fad and would not last. The majority of people that use spray tanning fall into two categories. 1. Pale complexion and have never been able to have a tan of any type and spray tanning allows them the pleasures of having some color. 2. The person that is so conscious of taking care of their skin and never exposes it to sun light but has always used self tanning lotions typically purchased at make-up counters, and now have a way to have it applied quickly and effortlessly. Just based on this information alone, do you really believe that spray tanning is a fad and will go away. Here is another thought, everyone wants to have a tan during the summer months and many get it out doors causing a slower indoor tanning season, however if you do not expose your self to UV light where will you get your summer tan? Spray booths maybe. This may in fact help with those slower summer months. |

Rep Power: 107 | If you had read the above posts you would have seen that some are in favour of spray-on tanning, however, not in booths that have little or no control over the amount of solution applied. If I were to recommend truly fake tanning (spray-on) I would have to say air-brushing is the best bet in that the applicator can control the situation....... |
