Rep Power: 0 | top250tansyou, Try a all in one-scanner/printer/copier from Dell, tax write off, not too expensive. I love mine, I scan all my contracts and keep them in my data base. I just box up the hard forms via alpha. Haven't had to go throught them yet, I just pull up my database. |

Rep Power: 22 | I like that idea. I had to go to court a couple of years ago. Customer was there before I took over the salon. We did not have a client form filled out on her. We signed up over 300 new people this month. Every new customer has to fill one out. |

Rep Power: 0 | What do you mean these forms are not legal? You must let the client know that are under ultraviolet radiation Danager. They must follow operator, tanning unit, eyewear and safety instructions. Avoid too frequent or lengthy exposure. As with natural sunlight, exposure to a sunlamp may cause eye and skin injury, sunburn and allergic reactions. Repeated overexposure may cause chronic damage characterized by wrinkling, dryness and premature aging of the skin. Wear potective eyewear. Failure to do so may result in severe burns or long term injury to the eyes. Abnormal or increased skin sensitivity or burning may be caused by certain foods, medications (including , but not limited to tranquilizers, diuretics, antibiotics, high blood pressure medication, birth control pills, and skin creams, cosmetics or toiletries. Consult a physicain or pharmacist before medications, have a history of skin problems, or believe yourself especially sensitve to sunlight. Pregnant women and women on birth control pills who use a tanning device may develop discolored skin. Ultraviolet radiation from sunlamps enhance the effects of the sun. Do not sunbathe before or after exposure to ultraviolet radiatiojn. If you do not tan in the sun you are unlikely to tan from the use of this product. Use of a tanning device may not provide a protective base in regards to sun exposure. Once your clients understand this. It is legal I even hadn anttorney look this over a while back. |

Rep Power: 24 | Having a signed consent form does not protect you from lawsuits but it is some insurance (in the form of a written Hold Harmless Notification)for the owners from the tanner to plead ignorance. Just remember, you are the professional! In a court of law, the judge, jury and everyone else will look at you in the context of You having superior knowledge, and the defendant as the victim even if it was explained ad naseum in the simplest of terms. It's all about CYA! |

Rep Power: 0 | If they trie and sue for the aboved items mentioned it will protect you from a lawsuit. I have seen it happen. If they don't wear eyewear. And after time damage thier eyes they and try to say your salon did it. And when it is proven that eye protction will block out most rays. Your little sheet will hold. Also your saying it's some insurance????????? Anyway some states actually require to have consent forms or release forms. Actually most do. |

Rep Power: 24 | It will not protect you from a lawsuit. People will sue for any & all reasons they think they can. It may hold you harmless & protect you as the information was disclosed, but the point being that you may still incur costs & legal fees & your time tied up for a while. |
