I'm looking to purchase an existing salon and at the same time I would like to put in new equipment. I have received the list prices but before I start negotiating, I was hoping that someone would be able to give me the going price for the following new equipment:

232GSF
232PF
240GS
E300
E450
Avantgarde
Mystic Tan

Any help would be appreciated.

The salon already has used beds but some of them are '96 models and others are '99 models. Only one location as '03 models and it is generating the most revenues. I know that it could be the location but the new equipment stands out.

All the beds above can be brought new for low ball prices..The reason, Ergoline has introduced a whole new generation of beds to the USA (including the Soltron line). They will be phasing out the C-series beds over the near future. The warehouse in Ak is packed, and they are in need to make room for new line..So the dealing is in your favor..the C600 can be had for about 16K..the C450 for 13K..they are begging people to buy the C300..so don't let any disty talk you into a high price..tell them you will walk if they don't talk...Remember, negotiate!!..you have upper hand..

So what would a good price on a new 232GSF or 240GS be?

We have many of both of these beds, buy them at the lowest price you can get. I will tell you you are not going to be dissappointed. These beds are work-horeses. Never break, and it they will out perform your comp. I dont know a good price though. That is not my end of the business - plus I believe my boss got them at cost. Also ask ergoline about the scratch and dent beds. My boss bought 4 Ultra 600's a few years ago and got a great deal. They had a few bumps here and there - so what. That doesnt change the performance of the bed.

Thanks for the info top250 & studio 102. With all of the salons that have bought Sundash/Ergoline units, I am surprised that no one is able to tell me what a good price is for new equipment. I feel like I am buying a car and the sales person is trying to see how much he can make off of me.

It would be nice to know that they have the same 2.0 markup as lotions and we have room to play with the price. It is very difficult considering they say that some of the prices are at list and that is what my price is or that the list has recently been lowered and they won’t go any lower. I just find that un-believable.

Thanks again

I am going to guess the price on the 240G..though not accurate, close..about 12-13K. the 232, new about 5-6K. But why would you stop there?

A new SunStorm/Orbit is 14K. The newer Elixir iss 13K Better beds/more power.
Keep in mind the 240G is not true ballast/lamp. The 170w lamps are powered by 140w ballast. It is old technology. The Storm/Orbit/Elixir is true 160s.

Or a Black Energy/uwe new is 14K..the new Lotus is 13K..better beds all true 160 ballast

Deal is with any bed manu...the more you buy the lower they will drop the price, so what one salon pays may not be the same for another. I have all Ergo and sundash beds, you cant find a better bed for the money, love them and the tans they give are great.
