Wow this is really a cornucopia of tanning advice. Let me start by saying we are new to the “Tanning industry”; We are looking to open a tanning salon in CA, this year. Unfortunately my partner and I have no previous experience in this arena. I’m open to all information and welcome any personal advice or thoughts! We are open to all possibilities and would like to know as much as possible prior to making a commitment to one specific area/location, equipment/products, insurance co, and so on. you and i are in the same boat. do you mind if i ask where you are looking? i'm interested in opening a uv free tanning boutique that only does magic tans. are you in northern or southern? i'm in the bay area. no prior experience either. if you are nearby we should chat..

Hi, I opened my salon about 6 weeks ago and I was completely new to the industry. I researched it very thoroughly and checked out all the competition within a certain radius. It has taken off really well and the salon has to stay open 7 days because of the demand. I'm happy to answer any questions about what I've encountered so far and how I set everything up.

I will post a board free of anal retentive closed minded simpltons in charge of what is said or not said. Does it agree with the banners advertisers? Or will on a board where they cater to whining posters that bring the shiiit on themselves..and can't take it when you smack them back. I am getting really tired of cutting and pasting all my posts into word because certain people think the evil eye is their you play toy.
