Rep Power: 0 | Hi I'm from New Zealand & Sunless Tanning has only been around for about 1 year (maybe abit more?!) Only last month, the first Sunless Tanning Booth arrived on our shores in our busiest city, Auckland. I live in Mount Maunganui which is a beach resort with a combined population with Tauranga of 100000 which swells beyond belief during the summer holidays. I am really determined to get a booth here. My problem here is that the financial institutions dont know a thing about the product & are slamming their doors saying its too risky! The distributorship here is selling the booth with enough material & solution to do 240 tans for NZD $79900 plus GST (which is another 12.5%) One prospective lender has said if I can get from the overseas operators a verification of how well they are doing ie a set of financial accounts (names deleted was fine!) then that would help my cause. Is there anyone out there who would be prepared to help me out? (Where I would like to setup is either in a mall or next door to it with a 5.5-6 million footfall per annum.) Thanks for any replies. |

Rep Power: 0 | YRTan First, I love New Zealand....what a beautiful country. As of today, the conversion to US dollars vs. NZ dollars is 1NZD = 0.668398 USD xe.com Universal Currency Converter ® Results Live mid-market rates as of 2004.03.04 15:14:57 GMT. 79,900.00 NZD New Zealand Dollars = 53,404.98 USD United States Dollars 1 NZD = 0.668398 USD 1 USD = 1.49612 NZD That is outrageous for a Majic which sells for 30K in the states. I know shipping to NZ is high....and the duties are high........but not THAT high. Maybe you should get another quote....or another provider. HT2 |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi Thanks for that. The unfortunate thing is that Magic Tan has one sole distributor here, who has all rights & they were purchased off the Australian Distributor, so to go with Magic Tan, that is the price....like it or lump it! Mystic Tan has supposedly got a distributor here to & they have paid double the price compared to M.Tan. Have looked at Coco-Bay who have advised me to get in touch with Ergoline Australia, which seems to have dumped Coco-bay and gone with Mystic Tan. Have received info from Heartland about the Sun Spritz (which they dont have a distributor in Aust) but concerned about the patent issues re: Tom Laughlin. All abit daunting being so far away & the booths being such an unknown thing down here. |

Rep Power: 0 | Neon, Actually we were discussing the Magic Tan machine. Have you priced it? The list in the USA is $29,999. xe.com Universal Currency Converter ® Results Live mid-market rates as of 2004.03.05 01:13:57 GMT. 29,995.00 USD United States Dollars = 40,016.94 CAD Canada Dollars 1 USD = 1.33412 CAD 1 CAD = 0.749558 USD NEW! Do your foreign exchange on-line with XE.com's XEtrade. BEST RATES guaranteed. Love that currency converter site. xe.com Universal Currency Converter ® Results Live mid-market rates as of 2004.03.05 01:14:57 GMT. 62,000.00 CAD Canada Dollars = 46,471.67 USD United States Dollars 1 CAD = 0.749543 USD 1 USD = 1.33415 CAD NEW! Do your foreign exchange on-line with XE.com's XEtrade. BEST RATES guaranteed According to the package I have, the Mystic is selling in the USA for $29995 which should about 40,000 Canadian. Considering NAFTA, I don't understand why it would be any higher with the exception of some extra shipping. Neon.....I don't blame you, I would not pay $46,000 US for any of them........ Nothing personal, just business.....and there is not Mysticism or Magic about it! HT2 |

Rep Power: 23 | Randy and Lisa.. I recieved a PM from a fan..and responded ....in short. Don't call me dearest if you don't want me to check your closet for wire hangers. Quote:LaDeDah Posts: 28 From: Plymouth, Maine Posted: 2004-03-17 19:48 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dearest MJ, I am not sure what a distie is, but from the "tone" of your response it appears to me that it was a mean dig. My sympathies to you. I am new here, not a spammer, I dislike SPAM and rude people. I love to assist people and was so excited to find this site; purely by accident I might add. If you happen to start getting SPAM related to Cinnamon Bay, I assure you I had nothing to do with it. Thank you for the extra attention, and again, I am sorry to hear such negativity from someone. I hope things get better for you and you feel better about yourself soon. I am not here to bicker or play immature games. I simply want to clear up your misinformation ~ Pam LaDeDah's Profile | Reply My original response was deleted..why????? I do not know. The second evil was my response to brat like mods who made the final decision to censor me. I remember to save that one. Quote:I see censorship is still very much alive and well here. WHAT I SAID I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO SAY. Now no need to get your pals to warn me to death Cya! Until the coward that edited me can be seen...and states their reasons....I will not bother to visit here. That was a clean post.... no ****, ***, *******, skrew, *****, tramp, ****, words were used. If words like 'disdain' and 'remedial' are comsidered "bad here. Then, Fhuck you people! In the future I will just reply (if at all) on Tanformation.com where the mods from CesorshipRus.com cannot evil eye my OPINION. Especially when this person called me out to play. You guys can go back to watching grass grow or paint dry. I will post a board free of anal retentive closed minded simpltons in charge of what is said or not said. Does it agree with the banners advertisers? Or will on a board where they cater to whining posters that bring the shiiit on themselves..and can't take it when you smack them back. I am getting really tired of cutting and pasting all my posts into word because certain people think the evil eye is their you play toy. Buh Bye now. PS I saved this post to..I guess censorship is alive and well here even without the brat. :eyeroll: _________________ hereya go mods.... mods evil eye this......
