Talking just bought two salons that are up and running!!

Hello my name is Chase Mitchell, and I recently purchased two tanning salons in very nice areas of town.. They are well established and have plenty of business.. Should I pay to have the payrol done... ? Is the eft stuff hard to learn or should i have somebody do that too?

i would love to keep a low overhead!!!

I only have one salon, but this stuff isn't that bad to do yourself. Give it a shot atleast. You can always hire it out later if it ends up being too much. A program like Quickbooks will make life easier for you tho. Good Luck.

If you do EFT's yourself, you are limited to just credit card debits. Drafting from a checking or savings account requires a Federal Reserve approved source. Lets say you could establish 300 EFT's per month. That's a lot of credit card inputs to be done by yourself.

You're right Club, I was thinking payroll. Didn't even think about the second half of the question.

and I do agree with you about Quick Books. Great tool in handling payroll as well as seeing your day to day P&L. Wonderful!!!! Also good for handling quarterly taxes you give to your accountant plus the end of year tax information is easy to get. Just make an "Accountants Copy" of the last year and hand it to your CPA
