Rep Power: 0 | Hi, newbie here. Is there a substitute for the bed-cleaning products that the distributors sell? $14.95 a bottle is a lot and seems like it would go fast. Can I use an over-the-counter product or a really mild bleach solution ? Some other salons I've been to have spray bottles to clean beds but there's no color or smell to them. (Gee, I hope it's not just water!!) thanks. |

Rep Power: 24 | It should be in a concentrated form. So you are actually getting a lot more than you think. I would stick with the ones salons have been using. Most clients will not have a reaction to them. They may have a reaction to something with bleach in it. |

Rep Power: 0 | Do you have a salon or just a home bed? In salon conditions where sanitation is critical you will find that the diluted mix goes pretty far. I buy it by the gallon at around $30.00. With 8 beds it lasts about a year, or a bit less if extremely busy. It could actually go further, but we are very generous with the solution around here, spraying both top and bottom acrylics and going over each surface twice as a general rule. Pretty cheap really to have a sanitized and clean area for folks to tan. |

Rep Power: 0 | Great, I didn't realize the product would last so long. I only have two beds. I hope to be ready to open within the next couple weeks. I guess I'll go ahead and order it. Thanks for answering my dumb questions. I'm learning everything from scratch and this site has been excellent!!! |

Rep Power: 22 | I highly suggest you dont put bleach on your beds. Lucasol is a very good product, a gallon or quart will go a long way. The money you pay for it is well worth it. Also, dont clean your beds with papertowels, they will scratch the acrylic on the bed. |
