Rep Power: 21 | Direct mail is the best way to get your name out... but you need a ******* piece and offer. It will cost you roughly 22cents a piece mailed for a large postcard. If you give away free tans you just got business. Now all you need to do is show them how great your salon is when they are there. |

Rep Power: 22 | I have done direct mailing for 2 years through moneymailer. This will be my last year, I have a mailer go out 10 times a year. I have just realized that I do have enough time and with a little planning I can get them ready, give them out to clients who send me clients anyway, and I can post them on my website and save a heck alot of money. We purchased a copier when we first opened and I am going to utilize the heck out of it. |

Rep Power: 0 | Don't ever take competitors coupons plain and simple. You don't work for them so why act like you do. We have always done direct mail coupons to our current database of clients, but our list is getting too long. It takes a lot of time, ink, and stamps to mail them out. We are going to try a Val Pak mailer for the first time next year because it will be cheaper and it will reach more people. Still plan on working the database but just not as often. |
